Noboru Step Ladder | Fritz Hansen

$890.00

Noboru means ’to climb’ in Japanese and is a multifunctional step ladder. The lower step can slide in, taking up less space and turning the step ladder into a stool or side table. Under the step a short handle is milled, so you can grab it and pull it out and push it back in. The minimalistic step ladder in solid oak has slim profiles on all edges allowing the assemblings to be visible, which gives Noboru its aesthetic excess in the overall elegant and discrete expression.

Founded in Denmark in 1872, the company has a long history of collaborating with leading international designers to bring their visionary concepts to life. They have always focused on designing and producing high-quality furniture that ages with grace and lasts for generations. Fritz Hansen inspires their customers to live well and think long-term. Always looking for new ways of doing business has led them to the forefront of modern sustainable furniture production. Today as in 1872, Fritz Hansen’s work is guided by the philosophy that a single piece of furniture can beautify an entire room or building – and heighten the well-being of the people who inhabit these spaces.

Fritz Hansen are long-term believers in sustainable and straightforward beauty, and work with likeminded skilled international designers. Sustainability runs deep in their veins – in materials, production and the way they treat partners and employees, which is why they have been proud members of the UN Global Compact Act since 2010, B Corp since 2017 and FSCTM-certified since 2003.
